WWF Panda Puzzle
A beautiful 500 piece puzzle featuring the stunning Giant Panda, one of the endangered species from the acclaimed World Wildlife Fund (WWF). The puzzle show the giant panda in it natural habitat. Although thought to be solitary creatures, researchers in the Qinling Mountains in China have reported pandas living in groups of up to 28 individuals. The WWF has been working closely with the Chinese government on panda conservation since 1980. Thanks to this work and the creation of multiple protected areas, around three-quarters of wild pandas now live in nature reserves and over half of panda habitat is protected. Despite this, there are only around 1,600 giant pandas left in the wild. The Panda logo has been a symbol of WWF since the organisation was created in 1961 – Chi-Chi, a panda that had recently arrived at London Zoo, was the original inspiration. This jigsaw, featuring the stunning Giant Panda, is a must-have for any puzzle and wildlife lover and makes for a rewarding and challenging experience. The puzzle is made from high quality card and comes presented in a rectangular box which has been shrink wrapped for further protection. The completed puzzle measures 490 x 335mm.
